HIJOY's Acoustic Antifouling System uses the latest principles in ultrasonic to transmit variable ultrasonic frequencies through an underwater hull. This Acoustic Energy prevents the attachment and fouling of marine organisms and assists in maintaining a smooth foul free hull.
HullGuard will compliment an underwater hull's paint system to minimize hull fouling issues related, to long idle times, layup's and low speed, high fouling trading environments.
Anti-fouling Technology
The Control Panel sends ultrasound signals to transducers which attached to the hull or running gear, then transducers receive the high-frequency signals, transforming them into ultrasonic pulses.
The system apply a certain frequency and intensity ultrasonic to the liquid that runs across the hull and drive gear, makes it generates a large number of tiny bubbles, and these tiny bubbles will cause a series of physical & chemical changes and locally resulting in instantaneous high temperature and pressures as they oscillate, grow and contract to collapse, which makes the attachment quickly peel off and crush the epidermal cells of organisms, inhibit the growth of marine organisms, so as to achieve the purpose of preventing marine growth.
